Re: WA Bus Observations 2024
I guess you can say the same about 1890 spotted in Embleton in 2021 with Route 21 front desto? This route is long gone and is now part of 950.Merc1107 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:57 pmPerhaps an enthusiast wanted a photo, and the destination was set by a like-minded driver to pose the shot. Plenty of examples of that can be found in enthusiast groups, or on 'perthbus.info' proper.Enviro 500 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 1:03 am That photo certainly looks posed. Wonder what was the occasion.

Re: WA Bus Observations 2024
I would think the EDS controller gets reset every time a contract changes hands or a bus gets transferred to other operators. 1890 has never left Malaga in its life. Unlikely it would display route details of a service not controlled by Path Transit.

1501 (0405NH) has been transferred to Swan, seen it running a 204T on Ranford Road Canning Vale yesterday morning. Previously noted on the Fremantle depot list.

Yesterday saw 1687 travelling on 980F on William street. I’m pretty sure it has transferred to Bayswater depot

Re: WA Bus Observations 2024
Saw something unusual today took a Save the Bees Mercedes Benz O305G CVL2399 run by Perth Bus [A Chalkley] on a Transperth Route 388 from Warwick to the Perth Busport today at around 10AM and i would like to why would a Perth Bus Save The Bees O305G Be running a Transperth Route did a B7 or B8 that was supposed to run the route broke down at all or not. Because i thought O305Gs didnt run Transperth Routes anymore but today one did and this was an unusual thing that happened.

Can you seriously please stop with the lies as Transperth bus services are DONE by Transperth buses and not small private companies! If one breaks down, there would be a replacement called in from respective depots.HL7619 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 6:17 pm Saw something unusual today took a Save the Bees Mercedes Benz O305G CVL2399 run by Perth Bus [A Chalkley] on a Transperth Route 388 from Warwick to the Perth Busport today at around 10AM and i would like to why would a Perth Bus Save The Bees O305G Be running a Transperth Route did a B7 or B8 that was supposed to run the route broke down at all or not. For the first time in a while, 3001 is out and about, currently running a 998 short trip between UWA and Stirling - and on a rare occasion as of recently, in full corporate livery!

I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Not quite. It was photographed in service, in standard livery while between AOAs briefly (only one day!) in either 2018 or 2019.Bus Suggestions wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 7:24 pm For the first time in a while, 3001 is out and about, currently running a 998 short trip between UWA and Stirling - and for the first time since at least 2014, in full corporate livery!

Re: WA Bus Observations 2024
Sorry but this just doesn't happen - especially where Perth Busport is involved given how that place operates.HL7619 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 6:17 pm Saw something unusual today took a Save the Bees Mercedes Benz O305G CVL2399 run by Perth Bus [A Chalkley] on a Transperth Route 388 from Warwick to the Perth Busport today at around 10AM and i would like to why would a Perth Bus Save The Bees O305G Be running a Transperth Route did a B7 or B8 that was supposed to run the route broke down at all or not. Occasionally privates turn up on rail (although it isn't as common as it once was - the last big shutdown run by privates may well have been the Armadale line in 2016), but never in route service.
I would be interested to know what gave you the impression this bus was doing a 388?

Re: WA Bus Observations 2024
The Reason why i posted this was because this was an unusual sight because i boarded if from Warwick Station and took it to angove street unless this was a charter service as there was quite a few people on it about 10-25 people. I did not have be abused by ZidanehartonoMerc1107 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 7:52 pmSorry but this just doesn't happen - especially where Perth Busport is involved given how that place operates.HL7619 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 6:17 pm Saw something unusual today took a Save the Bees Mercedes Benz O305G CVL2399 run by Perth Bus [A Chalkley] on a Transperth Route 388 from Warwick to the Perth Busport today at around 10AM and i would like to why would a Perth Bus Save The Bees O305G Be running a Transperth Route did a B7 or B8 that was supposed to run the route broke down at all or not. Re: WA Bus Observations 2024
With a claim as brazen and statistically impossible as that, the general ruling is “photos or it didn’t happen.” Along with that, given your track record of unsupported, debunked, and misleading “observations,” Zidane wasn’t completely in the wrong to call you out in that way. If this is counted as “abuse,” I’d hate to see what other board members have to say about this topic…

I saw it too. Also saw two unicorns onboard and a three eyed dragon.Bus Suggestions wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 10:41 pm With a claim as brazen and statistically impossible as that, the general ruling is “photos or it didn’t happen.” Along with that, given your track record of unsupported, debunked, and misleading “observations,” Zidane wasn’t completely in the wrong to call you out in that way. 1402 appears to have moved to SR. Seen yesterday on 205. Boarded it this morning on 930.
