Volvo 1977 B58-56 K19 5 speed manual trans

Post by DaGo »

Hi bus fans
I've got a Volvo 1977 B58-56 with a K19 (or K-19) 5-speed manual transmission put together by PMC SA.
I do have the operators manual (printed and some service manual pages from Voldemort).
It also has a manual clutch (as opposed to the hydraulic clutch) - Engine is a THD100 series (not sure of specific version) and goes real well.
Currently bus is in SE QLD.

My problem is the gears will no go into gear - any gear (forward or reverse).
Does anyone have a workshop manual for the K19 transmission <----------------------------------------
label underneath the trany is:
Type K191
PART NR 254493A
FABR NR 78285

Have tried Guy Arab to no avail - if anyone else is interested in the operators manual etc and how to get them off the now defunct voldemort site - can help - PM me.

Any help really appreciated with the workshop manual for the K19 transmission
Dave

Some problem with the linkages between the stick and the gearbox selectors?

Start by getting under bus and looking for the connections. Have someone in the cab to wiggle the gear stick.
