Electric buses in Brisbane

Post by Noel »

A selection of Electric buses in Brisbane.

Transport for Brisbane operate four Yutong E12s on the City Loop. Here are (6003) and (6004) performing the loop in the pouring rain.

(6003) on Adelaide St near Post Office Square, Brisbane City.

(6004) at the intersection of Eagle and Wharf Sts, Brisbane City.

Transdev Queensland operate (016) - a BYD R9RA/Volgren Optimus - pictured here departing Carindale.

I thought the Council electrics were on the Glider, guess not.

The green wrap on the Logan and Transdev electrics looks very obstructive to view out the windows. I understand there's an element of PR in "greenwashing", although it's a bridge too far in how they've implemented it. While the Glider wrap similarly obstructs vision out of the rear doors, it isn't quite as intrusive.

Doors should never be covered in wrap. The Glider ones are the worst.
