Nothing wrong with drivers being encouraged to do the speed limit, instead of 35kph for once.

Is it time to re-route buses along Grenfell Street, at least for a few months? Maybe they can also take the 98 buses along Frome Street instead of Kintore Avenue.
How about re-routing cars? At least those not accessing the car parks on North Tce. Public transport should have priority over private vehicles. Perhaps convert the left lane to a Bus Lane, which would then be almost continuous from Hackney Rd? Or how about buses use the tram lanes and tram stops until King William St?

I would have though 2419 or 2454 would be a sensible number. It is not much different to 2418 chassis wise.

'233' supposedly rear ended 257 today on Churchill Rd from what I heard. No idea if they're write-offs or not.

What do you mean by 'new version'? What's different about it?

They're identical to the older ones except for the livery, and the sometimes near deafeningly loud announcements. So I somehow doubt there's a version 2.

Even the ex city free CNG NL202s and the older ones have more differences than what these do.

Possibly version 2 meaning the shorter wheelbase version (as seen from 1079 onwards)?

There’s no note in fledglings to any “version 2”, other than livery

An O-Bahn bus has come off the O-Bahn tracks at Klemzig Interchange. A crane has been called in to put the bus back on the track. Buses to Paradise Interchange are detouring to the road network.

I suspect that the shorter wheelbase is for the purose of O'bahn work.

O-Bahn track is still closed between Klemzig and Paradise Interchanges.. Delays are generally 7 to 9 minutes. Some services running later than this.
Obviously repairs to track is still taking place.

Track will be closed between Klemzig and Paradise (up and down) until further notice, maybe several days, due to damage caused.

Question and i know this mighy be a dumb one but how does a bus come off the track is that something to do with a nroken guide wheel or something like that?

I don't believe it had anything to do with guide wheel. I guess investigations by Torrens Transit and DIT personnel will determine cause of the accident. It appears that damage to the bus is quite extensive.

From what I heard, the chassis is bent. It will be interesting to see what the investigation determines. I would suspect it's a write off, and that it will replaced by another of the aforementioned.

So much for not reusing old fleet numbers. 2601 was a Rosa.

Since when did anyone not reuse old fleet numbers? Generally that’s only done if there’s a fatality (eg 2724, now 2751)
