opal.com.au is on it's last legs. Almost every function on the site now links to transportnsw.info which now has a beefed up Opal page that includes account and card management. The only thing remaining on the old site is the ability to order cards, which transportnsw.info doesn't yet do.

Can someone please tell me how you are meant to get from one side of Strathfield station to the other - for a 4 minute changeover between trains, without rushing?!

I sent in contact us feedback a couple of days ago for the misspelling of 'service' on this transportnsw.info banner.

They closed my feedback case with a generic thanks for your feedback, it's really important to us and we've passed it along for consideration in future timetable updates!

As of yet, the spelling has not been corrected...

Yes, you walk down one ramp, along the concourse and up the next ramp. For a normal person, 4 minutes should be more than adequate. I don't know your personal situation, but I accept some people may have difficulties.

Unfortunately, it just wouldn't be feasible to co-ordinate comfortable connections between every service that stops at Strathfield. The best you can hope for is more frequent services to reduce waiting times.

my advice would be, to know where the ramps are at Strathfield, so when you get off the first train, the ramp is nearby.

It\s quite annoying if you get off the middle of the platform and there is no way down to the tunnel, there should be stairs.

It is also quite annoying that the next train to North Sydney and beyond is so hard to identify at Strathfield, cane be platform 4 or platform 5.

Can also be 2 (or even 1), with some NS fast trains using the Main lines almost up to Redfern.

Just noticed a change on the transportnsw.info Trip Planner. The coloured route numbers have changed in size and the coloured box is now a different size. Interesting...

Could someone please tell me how (cough ur cough) the transport info site says that the main outward Pearson St bus stop at Charlestown is only 59 metres from the Pearson & Frederick St, and claims it is only a 1 minute walk? What the transport page should have said is the Route 11 stop in Pearson St just before Frederick St! It's about 250 metres.

You wouldn't believe the combinations and what stops to change at!

Interesting that they still refer to it as
Thank you for contacting Transport NSW Info 131500.
I sent in feedback about the bus stop in Eddy Ave being converted to coach parking specifically referring to "the bus stop on the southern side of Eddy Ave at Central Station" (there is no signage there now, so can't identify a stop or stand number).

Amazingly
Unfortunately there was not enough information in your feedback to fully investigate the issues.
Can anyone provide a better description to help these unfortunate people?

Now that RMS is being merged into Transport for NSW, the RMS logo has been removed from rms.nsw.gov.au and road alerts are sneaking onto transportnsw.info https://transportnsw.info/news/2019/roa ... temans-bay

Is the Trip Planner being maintained by someone who speaks German only?

(Bahnsteig is German for platform)

Not sure with thread to put this in, but this recently change to a different bus stop sign should be "STAND C", not "STAND D". Stand D is the on-demand and school routes bus stop in Smart St.

Of course I did Fleet Lists. Nothing wrong with showing it. It's also missing both Swansea Heads and Lake Haven as well.

dont know where to put this but....TfNSW website has had a makeover....
not sure what to say about it...
looks nice and modern but kinda confusing to find stuff at first glance...especially for occasional users.

That's the transport info website, not the TfNSW website which is different.
