Does anyone know if there is a planned timeframe for the retirement of all Scania buses?

Will QOCS be purchasing (or have they purchased) a Scania for their collection? Or does the CNG fueling of the bus make that not feasible?

648, 651 and 838 have been added to the Manheim site for auction on 06 September 2019.

From observations, there are only 13 Scanias left in service - 626, 627, 630, 633, 646, 650, 655, 656, 662, 664, 668, 676 and 677.

With that going on, does that mean that the late 1200s like 1299, etc. be transferred to GC? I know the newest MAN's from G are going to W as 1372 and 1373 has already done.

I would say so - 1300 is already there, noting that 1345, 1346 and 1347 are still at Toowong and will presumably go sometime.

I haven't seen G655 or G677 since early October so they look to have been withdrawn from service.

The remaining 11 buses must almost be on borrowed time with the number of transfers from Toowong that have now been received at Garden City.

Only Scania I've seen lately still in service is 626. Are there any others asides 626 that is still in service?

I’ve seen 650 in Roma Street last Wednesday, was surprised it’s still going, thought they would off transferred in some of Toowongs 12**s to see them off.

I have seen all seven remaining Scanias over the past week so they are all still hanging in there.

Is there still no definite date for when we can expect to see the last few Scanias finally be withdrawn?

Thought I'd make mention that I've seen V770 for sale on Ebay being used as a Motorhome, seller mentions through it isn't a runner at this point and from the description was also being used as a shed for storing items.

Also up for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Been used as a shed on a private property on Drews Rd Loganholme.
They're wanting $7,500 for it, "mechanically okay but doesn't run", clearly note mechanically okay , dreaming if they want $7,500 for it.
