Those electronic digital speedos are interesting.

The Hillspeed Speedos? They're actually quite good, when an analogue speedo fails. I quite like them.

I would have thought you'd have one on your Laser, to go with your Hub Odometer, Swift!

If it's not a ZF, take it back!

Yep that's what I was talking about. My Lasers speedo was playing up and I had to rely on my GPS sometimes until I tried applying grease to the cable which fixed the issue. I still wouldn't mind fitting one to go with the hubodometer.
PS: I can probably buy three hubodometers for one of them. I have my trusty Garmin with speedometer mode but may consider getting one.

If you do end up getting one, I'd love to see photos of that!
A lot of Driving Instructors use them in their cars to monitor how fast their students are driving too

Re: Dashboards-Horizons West
Just seeing one on a bus makes me want one.
Do you know the cheapest place to get one? I was a bit taken aback by the price.

I did see one in Cash Converters in Fremantle once
Can't remember if the wiring was with it.
Ebay or Gumtree perhaps?

Re: Dashboards-Horizons West
Arrived the other day. Happy Bus-1809?
Only issues so far was the other night when it was slow to gather satellite reception and the speed reading was all over the shop for a kilometre or two, reading too fast before eventually correcting itself. It was stormy weather though and the booklet makes clear that inclement weather can affect satellite triangulation.
It worked flawlessly last night on my shopping run though so we'll see.
I do like the well thought out speed alert where it doesn't activate until 3 km/h over the target speed with a nice red light either side of the display and non intrusive buzzer sound. I had a car with this feature but it would come on 1km over so I rarely used it. Thus one's much better!

Re: Dashboards-Horizons West
After a year very happy I took the plunge and ordered it. I rely on it when driving and never look at the car's original speedo. It looks nice, especially at night and I can view it easier high up on top of the dash without having to look down on the analogue speedo.
Haven't been putting the hubbo on lately. Grew bored.
