Engine replacment
I am restoring a comair bus for a museum the engine fitted was a Bedford 214 and this is beyond economical repairer. I have a 300 ci petrol and I am wondering if it will drop in with no issues, the only thing that worries me is that the 214 has a engine driven compressor the timing cover is heart shaped, can anyone tell me if I can fit the comp off the 214 onto the 300 using the original parts taken from the 214, I am yet to pull the 214 from the bus, so a heads up if this is possible would be great before I start the conversion.
