Option 1 will allow for transfers to and from the 228 and avoids right turn into Montague Road and Henderson Avenue.

Option 2 will allow transfers to and from the 502. But it should go via Maxwell Road rather than via Montague Road and ML Bvd.
Next station is Victoria Square. Change here for all trains.

How many services will be unnecessarily scrapped to pay for this? It reminds me of the so-called 'T2TX' which was scrapped fairly quickly after it's introduction.

The AdMetro link actually tells you how it will affect routes 560 and 565 to accommodate options 1 and 2.

This bus route was an election promise given it is a marginal seat. The funds were provided specially in last years budget which I presumed carried over to this financial year. There has been talk of a bus route along Wynn Vale drive for years...even Serco proposed a route but it didn't get approved due to a lack of funding at the time. The main (newer) section of Gulfview Heights is quite remote from the 545 and Bridge Rd buses, especially given the hilly terrain.

I'd with option 2 but they should scrap the 565, the proposed operating hours for route dreadful too, no one but few oldies will use this service.

So whichever option they go for it will be cost neutral. Obviously DPTI aren't wanting to spend money improving our bus services!
