The Opal only buses is now confirmed to be Hillsbus:

It also includes Nightride services, why not make all nightride services opal only too so it can be consistent, regardless of operator.

The "north west" area, is really thickly served with convenience stores.

In Melbourne, you can "top up" your myki with cash, on the bus. And they do, frequently, five dollars at a time.

My grandfather and the T-Way stop he goes to doesn't have an opal retailer any where nearby. In fact, the NSW transport website recommends walking 35 minutes or 2.6km to get to the nearest 7-11. I guess mist people who get the bus have an opal card but it would be offputting to infrequent users.

That won't work with opal as the government is trying to make buses cashless and phase out the practice of drivers handling money by making buses go opal only

Previously the 313 was timetable co-ordinated with the 314 on weekends to provide a consistent frequency leaving Bondi Junction towards Coogee, however I note with the new timetable this isn't the case, with both the 313 and 314 leaving Bondi Junction interchange at the exact same time. This is bound to cause reliability issues given you can only load a single bus at a time in the interchange.

A similar situation occurred during the timetable change on 30 September 2018 where most outbound off-peak weekday 288 services which ran from City - Erskine Street to Macquarie Park - Herring Road were extended to Epping Station - Cambridge Street (and vice versa in the opposite direction - to create a frequent 15 min frequency along the route between Epping and City to provide extra capacity for passengers displaced by the then closure of the Epping to Chatswood line and also to alleviate overcrowding on the overburdened M54 (which is now the 550).
Originally, there were two 288 services per hour departing Epping at :13 and :43 past the hour on weekdays, with hourly 291 service would depart on :57 past the hour, but since there are now route 288 services at :13, :28, :43 and :58 past the hour, the 288 service departing Epping at 58 min past the hour ends up following the 291 (departing Epping a minute earlier at 57 min past the hour) through Macquarie University before heading their separate ways shortly after leaving Macquarie Centre.

Apparently 307 and 357 are also being changed on 1/7. Those changes just appeared today.

The 357 changes are very sensible. Removes the near impossible turn at the corner of Alison and Cook which often took an entire set of lights (or more) to compete and reinstates access to the bus stops at Randwick Junction.

I still can't see how they managed to axe the X25 and not replace it with all stops, short runner 526 services. The Parramatta Road/Underwood Road passengers pack out the dual routes at their current abysmal average peak frequency of 10 min.

I still can't see how they managed to axe the X25 and not replace it with all stops, short runner 526 services. The Parramatta Road/Underwood Road passengers pack out the dual routes at their current abysmal average peak frequency of 10 min.

And the traffic congestion along Parramatta/Underwood Rds completely sends the idea of running on-time out the window. Bus lanes are definitely needed along Routes 525/526 between Leicester Ave and HB Dr (7am-7pm, 7 days) as well as short running, sweeper services as you said.

Hope WCX M4 East will solve a few problems. The big fix would be the Australia Ave roundabout

Between Strathfield Station and DFO roundabout maybe it should be a frequency service not a timetabled service.

Both, rumoured to be mostly City routes. Some short working trips would be helpful for improving reliability.
