Mercedes 1601 bus parts

Post by WoyBoy »

G'Day all,

Just purchased a 1989 Mercedes 1601 bus, converted to a motorhome. I'm new to the bus scene so I'm hoping for a helping hand from the more experienced :)

The indicator assembly, that is activated by the indicator lever on the steering wheel, is stuffed (tech talk). The plastic bit inside is fractured in to many bits.

I have two questions:

1/ any suggestions where to purchase this type of part?
2/ any advice in general when looking for parts for this bus?

Thanks,
Al

THis is possibly a standard Hella assembly. Have a look through their catalogs.
