Heritage Trains Observations 2018

Hi guys, this is a thread regarding heritage trains in Sydney/NSW. SInce one haven't been started i'll decide to start one.

Also when will be the Red Rattler's next trip? I've looked on the HET website and there doesn't seem to be anything coming up in the events list unless I am looking at the wrong site.

Rare sight! R1 class tram 1979 on the Royal National Park line. Normally only Melbourne and Interstate trams run on that line.

It may vary week to week. I have ridden plenty of Sydney trams down there.

Noticed a preserved railmotor (HPC ??) waiting in the down refuge at Penrith Friday afternoon. I think it had ARHS sign on the front.

3265 "Hunter" will enter service on the 25th of November running the Thirlmere steam shuttles
