A number of V Scanias have been on the move - 827, 828, 829 and 830 have all appeared at G.

Guess that means that some G Scanias may have been withdrawn...

These Scania CNG buses are really weak when climbing. I am sure I would be late for school if I get a ride with a Scania CNG. By the way, what will be the next model for 12.5m fleet? Will it be B8RLE or some new brands? To be honest, I like the MAN 19.320 Euro6 and the low floor chassis is better. I know that Volgren can do the bodywork for a low floor bus. Emmmm, but all of these are my hope.

G672 no longer in service - parked outside Toowong Workshops today with ticketing machines removed.

Can anyone confirm whether the following Scanias have also been withdrawn (as I have not seen them in service for a few weeks)?

G636, G637, G639, G673, G674, G675, G682, G684, G686, V694, V697, V744, V821.

Update 09.09.2018: V697 no longer in service - parked outside Toowong Workshops today with Cubic equipment removed.

Listed for auction on the Manheim website yesterday were V813 and V825 (both still there today) with note that "Crane / UnderLift Tow Required" - funny thing is V813 was in service this morning at Toombul.

Any news yet on when Garden City plans to phase out their Scanias? Once Virginia finally have all of theirs transferred/withdrawn they would be next to have them gone.

815 was on a 590 last night.

Now that all active Scanias look to be at Garden City, it would be great if someone could compile a complete list of Scanias housed there.

From my observations, 814, 815 and 817 made the trek to Garden City.

This leaves 744, 804, 807, 808, 810, 816 and 818 as buses likely to have been withdrawn from Virginia - can anyone confirm where these buses are?

Can anyone provide a list of Scanias still in service as at the end of 2018?

I estimate only 54 of the original 217 are left going into 2019. (BT Buses site currently has 67 but I think this overestimates the numbers.)

My list is:

625, 626, 627, 628, 629, 630, 632, 633, 646, 647, 648, 649, 650, 651, 652, 654, 655, 656, 660, 661, 662, 663, 664, 667, 668, 669, 670, 676, 677, 805, 806, 814, 815, 817, 819, 822, 823, 824, 826, 828, 829, 830, 831, 832, 833, 834, 835, 836, 837, 838, 839, 840, 841 and 842.

At current rate of replacement, 2019 may be the last year for this make of bus.

Saw 626 operating route 433 on Moggill Rd at Indooroopilly... does that mean Scanias are going to Toowong or Sherwood or is it just 'emergency rollingstock'?
Could be so many things:
-The final route before withdrawal at Riverview
-Transferral to T or S
-Emergency rollingstock
-Joy ride for enthusiasts

I have only sighted 21 Scanias in service in July:

625, 626, 627, 630, 633, 646, 648, 650, 651, 654, 655, 656, 662, 664, 668, 676, 677, 829, 833, 838 and 841.

All others look to have been withdrawn, although very few have been appearing on the Manheim auction site.

Of the 21 listed in the previous post on 14 July 2019, all bar 625, 633 and 654 have been seen in the past week (12-16 Aug).

19/08/2019 - 633 is still around.

I take the 120 services every day, but last time I rode SCANIA L94UB was in 21st July. Those Scania buses are decreasing significantly faster in the past two months than early this year.
