I see the new tram stop in King William Rd has resulted in the bus layover zone on the eastern side being decommissioned.

Saw bus body frame on back of truck around Churchill Power Station area
Next station is Victoria Square. Change here for all trains.

Do you seriously think drivers just ignore the problems on Port buses and park them on track at the end of a shift?

1334 had it's indicators wired to the reverse beeper for over a week some time last year causing headaches to drivers, and forcing them to disable it at intersections on occasions whilst in waiting queues despite being reported on the first day it was discovered, 423 had nasty gearbox vibrations for several months even at low speeds, and 1008 has been making a near deafening diff noise for well over 4 years now.

In short, I don't think it's the drivers that are at fault. I sent the DPTI a complaint about Port a couple of weeks ago, and as always - no response.

Last night with the opening of the Adelaide Fringe drawing huge crowds into the City, Adelaide Metro bumped up the O-Bahn and tram frequencies to/from the City. Services ran until almost 100am,as well many other routes had additional services from the City between 1130pm and 100am. Wonder how many people knew about this-no publicity anywhere including Adelaide Metro website!
Tonight there are again additional O-Bahn services to and from the City and frequent tram services until 300am--where is the publicity for this?

Trains on the Seaford line were running every 30min (to Seaford) until 3.00am last night / this morning.

All lines had extras until a similar time. Didn't appear to be any extra services to the city after the last normal service, but there were extras earlier in the evening heading to the city. I wonder how many people used trains after midnight without any publicity or awareness they were operating later?

Volvo 612 was out yesterday evening. Couldn't tell which run, but it would have most likely been a 202, 203, or 208(B) as it was serving X2.

It did a 200 to Marion,then a 208 to Paradise Interchange,then a 502 return to Salisbury Interchange.

Thanks for posting. Why aren't there additional services on key bus routes or are people in those areas not needing a bus to get home?
DPTI have no idea how to win over the public with their Public Transport services( or lack of).

The Fleet Lists page for Torrens Transit was updated today.http://fleetlists.busaustralia.com/index-sa.php

The ex-O-Bahn SL202s have been removed, but 1704 is still listed. The details for the latest Scanias have also been added, such as their location.

The extra trains and trams are running on Saturday nights there's already after midnight services on many bus routes on Saturdays. The after midnight services should include trams and trains all the time.

Speaking of the TT fleet lists, have any ex Darwin NL202s been withdrawn? I thought there were ones numbered 1351, and 1353.

Light-City Buses SL202 Diesel 444 has been withdrawn,is sitting in "withdrawn" section at the front of Morphettville Depot.

The voice is similar to that on Yarra Trams and the G:Link and advises customers to hold on if standing and which side the platform will be at the next stop. A pleasant voice to listen to, unlike the voice on train services. Let's hope trains are re-programmed with this voice (and which side the platform is on) in due course.

No need to make a big deal of it-I admitted being wrong-we all make mistakes Eagle Eye.
The bus was parked in an area where with drawn buses are often stored.So I was a few days premature.

This is an observations thread, the observation should have been that 444 was parked at the front section of Morphettville Depot. Research is needed before claiming it has been withdrawn.

I couldn't agree more re the voiceover on the trains. That voice just seems so dull. I recall some of the earlier sparks had a voiceover similar to the trams or Metro Trains in Melbourne but I think they have also been changed too :( Hopefully our trains will get an upgrade of voiceovers soon...

When I was in Brisbane in 2016 the trains still had driver's announcing the station and what side the platform was, which worked great.

I thought removing that near painfully loud, and annoying voice would cause an apocalypse. Is it actually a requirement to have 'mind the gap' in today's suburban trains?

How come 3015 has gotten around for months with only driver announcements? Obviously the drivers know the automated announcements are not working in that railcar, so they announce the next station the old fashioned way. It is barely audible though at least 50% of the time, like on the Jumbos.

Question should be, why do they have to announce the stations anyway? Are Adelaide fare paying passengers too dumb to work out which is their stop? And "gotten"? Are you American by any chance? The rest of us certainly are not.

Well, they could be blind and not actually able to see the stations. They could be new to Adelaide, or even new to riding on trains, and thus don't know where they are.

I'd also love to see the annoying beeping just before and while the doors are closing disappear. Either that or the "stand clear, doors closing" announcement disappear. You only need one or the other, not both. Beeping near doors means the doors are closing and stand clear, world-wide.
