That L94 actually filled up although sadly was like a busways bus in Blacktown with at least 25 percent of the bus fare dodging

What's that supposed to represent? It looks like something from Bolivia.

I'm not sure to be honest. I googled "STA red & cream" and all I got was this other thread from ATSB, where for some reason the images are broken: http://www.busaustralia.com/forum/viewt ... 42&t=85281

1935 doors wouldn't shut this afternoon. Stuck in the middle of the road at the intersection of Lilyfield Road and Norton Street.

Driver missed a stop on the 444, stopped to let someone off in the road, doors wouldn't shut afterwards. Mechanic came and it got driven back to L depot.

Volvo CB60 B12BLEA artic 1719 (and a few others) is now at Willoughby, saw the accreditation just now on a 292, Wynyard. Wonder if we'll start seeing them on M40 (yes please!). Thats my local Metrobus and kind of sad that its seemingly the only (STA) one that has absolutely no variety in fleet used

(Unless ive missed something and 1719 been there for longer)

The lack of a centre door is very annoying, when you have become accustomed to 3 door versions.

Looks like McVicars/ Bankstown Strathfield Bus Service. Fair enough too since they traversed common territory with the govvie buses and operated ex govvie buses too.

But I don't think single deckers were painted those colours back then.

Some photos I've seen, they were black and white.

Noticed some buses along Victoria Rd this morning with destination CITY-DRUITT ST. Do these terminate at the Sussex St stop?

I know some Vic Rd citybound buses in the morning peak are timetable to terminate on Clarence St after Druitt St stop. Maybe they changed the destination boards on these buses instead of Clarence St.
Since I know in the afternoon peak heading citybound along Vic Rd a few buses terminate at Park St can’t remeber if the desto for those buses shows Park St or Town Hall.

Desto reads "Town Hall" in that case, and the last stop is Park St, in front of The Galleries.

City - Park St, I thiiiink I've seen on route 461 inbound towards the City that don't go on to The Domain. Depends on the bus type, I do remember there would be a discrepancy. If I remember correctly, Volvo B10 APG Orana would display it as City - Park Street, all other bus types display City - Hyde Park.

Does this unusual (well it was a few years ago) terminus hark back to days gone by?

Don't forget not long ago 461 read CITY Park St Domain :0

That was very confusing.

Now it is far better. Whilst that Metrobus Junction stop is still on Park St, technically that is now one of the Town Hall bus stands :)

Over the last few days, I've noticed two different T buses have a desto that reads something like "Dest file..." with numbers and a code.

Didn't most of the Art Gallery/Domain services terminate at Park St at night?

Yep. The 461 used to terminate right outside Town Hall (instead of Park St) when George St was still available for use.

I suspect that many 13.5's will end up as scrap,as L608 suggested..The secondhand market for high km 25 year old high capacity buses would be very limited.
