The State Government is making a $9 million commitment to implement the first stag of its Hydrogen Roadmap. The initiative provides $8.2 million over 4 years for stage 1,which begins with the construction of a hydrogen production facility, refuelling station and a trial involving 6 hydrogen fuelled buses.
Will be interesting to see which company will supply these vehicles(fully imported?)
Also which company/depot will get to house and operate these vehicles?

Re: $9 miilion to begin Hydrogen Roadmap
Jay Weatherill's Facebook page yesterday shows the first electric bus (Precision Buses) rolling off the production line in north of Adelaide. All a part of employment strategies around the imminent closure of Holden at Elizabeth. So I reckon there's a fair chance of the hydrogen fuelled buses being manufactured at the same place.
Only trouble is the photo they've used in the video is actually Torrens' 1906.

Hydrogen fuel? Is it a combustion engine or a fuel cell.
And why is it a better idea than a battery?
