Re: [May/June 2017] SA Transport observations
It's a pity it won't be the case once the timetables are updated this year. Is there any way to manually update it when the changes come in?
Re: [May/June 2017] SA Transport observations
When timetables are changed,Transit Times updates the info. You cannot change or update app.
At this stage only O-Bahn and Tram timetables are due to be changed-that is if the respective projects are completed before the end of the year.

2 new Scanias at Torrens Transit's Port Depot 1956 and 1957.
Only the following MAN SL 202 Diesels left there now.--426-428-432-438.

Wow... SL202's are starting to reach their 25 years now. Saw 428 yesterday and it was certainly looking a bit worse for wear.jibb wrote:2 new Scanias at Torrens Transit's Port Depot 1956 and 1957.

1359 & 1360 must still be doing Tonsley to Flinders shuttles as I saw 1 of them this arvo on South Rd heading towards the Emerson bridge.

I think you'll find 435 and 439 are not yet withdrawn.2 new Scanias at Torrens Transit's Port Depot 1956 and 1957.

Re: [May/June 2017] SA Transport observations
They're not on fleetlists so they must have been withdrawn very recentlyTT wrote:I think you'll find 435 and 439 are not yet withdrawn.2 new Scanias at Torrens Transit's Port Depot 1956 and 1957.

439 was in service last week, but I haven't seen 435 in a while now. Is it undergoing repairs?

Re: [May/June 2017] SA Transport observations
Transit Times has been having some problems over the last few days. On Friday night no trips showed up on any Adelaide Oval Footy Express services to and from Adelaide Oval. But on Saturday night(no game) they did?
Today regular Monday services are showing up combined with Sunday/Public Holiday services.

Re: [May/June 2017] SA Transport observations
The problems are consistent with outdated GTFS timetable data (including calendar info for special events) being programmed into Transit Times. No real time info for trams was showing up on Friday whereas duplicate services displayed on Saturday, one set with real time and the other without.jibb wrote:Transit Times has been having some problems over the last few days. Re: [May/June 2017] SA Transport observations
I suspect that it may be no longer supported, hence the lack of updates.
Unless somebody finds a way to update it, vehicle IDs will be a thing of a past after the next lot of timetable changes.

Re: [May/June 2017] SA Transport observations
Doing a search for 2724 on this forum, found that 2724 was involved in an accident with a car last year, the car driver was unfortunately killed in the accident. It does seem to an unwritten rule in the transport world that a vehicle receives a new number whenever it's involved in a fatal accident...

Seven news last night (Tuesday) mentioned that during October the Outer Harbor & Grange lines will be closed for 3 weeks and the Gawler line for 10 days for work in conjuntion with the Torrens Junction project.

Re: [May/June 2017] SA Transport observations
New rear end,new engine-all the bodywork done by Custom Coaches at Wingfield. Almost looks like a brand new bus.Route 506 wrote:Spotted 1140 back in action yesterday at Paradise Interchange after its fire earlier in the year

Potential changes to Goolwa to Adelaide bus services. Proposed changes would see terminating buses at Noarlunga Centre Interchange, which would be cheaper and free up buses and more services would be introduced - http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/Announc ... s-services
