Re: BUS 490
Hasn't popped up anywhere as yet. There was no real indication of where it was headed, although it was owned by Scania so it may be back with them for storage or modifications?

Re: BUS 490
It is back at Scania Melbourne being scrapped. The bits being trialled have been returned to Sweden.
Parts of the body will be used on other buses.

ACTION BUS 490 had a very short life. What a waste of a good bus!
Re: BUS 490
Did anyone manage to get a recording of such a unique bus? And also did it have the older OSC9 engine (fitted to the L94UB's, or one of the newer K230UB's modified with CNG parts supplied from Sweeden?
Cheers!
Cheers!

490, the Scania K270UB ran the new Scania CNG Injection Motor.
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

I used to hear 490 referred to as the White Whale when it was in service.
