Okay I didn’t see earlier posts and not everybody has the time to go riding buses and trains everyday or check Internet forums for updates

Aset 47 has now been repaired and should be in service soon.
Bsets 052/091 both missing pantographs. Not sure what happened to 052. Been told that panto from 091 got tangled and was ripped from the roof.
123 final fit out looks like it's been completed and should be in testing soon

If I remember correctly B set BET 6091 is the one that got tangled in the wires at Kwinana last year it’s been parked in the DMU siding since now it also has some surface rust on the brakes next time I’m up that way I’ll try and get some photos the only issue is parking on Hester Ave

For those not on social media 3091 has been extensively damaged by fire in Baldivis more than likely a write off

I doubt it's a write off. Yes it was heavily damaged, but appears to be mostly contained to the engine area. It's also a ten-month old artic and those are not cheap to replace. It'll be off-traffic for a while but I think we will see it again.

I usually try to avoid getting involved in speculation however the vehicle is still within the manufacturers limited 12 month warranty it maybe cheaper for PTA and Volvo just to write it off and replace it under warranty like how 1655 replaced 1610

Me either, but generally it only makes sense to write off something when the cost of repair comes close to or exceeds the cost of replacement, even if it is under warranty. Same logic applies to Volvo too. Those artics are well North of half a million each and from the pictures it doesn't appear to be enough damage to justify replacing the entire bus.

The location of most the NHs sold on so far seem to be accounted for but does anyone out there know where 1140 and 1141 have got to?
