[quote="Pinza"] And 1788s engine failure may not have been as bad as initially thought as it was seen today in Alexander drive at 11:00 under its own power heading south[quote]

The Transcom that had the engine failure was 1778 NOT 1788

2007 will most likely be it's replacement as more Volvo's are required at Bayswater for Circle Route duties. Malaga will sometime in the near future, not have any Circle Route work.

would it make sense to send 1878 or 2012 to send there to make the fleet more consistenly

what this mean. is mean that all the path shift on circle route that is from malaga is change to bayswater. If yes that would mean malaga more concentrate on mirrabooka service, alexander dr service, morley service while bayswater on circle route, guildford rd and 950.

Also, by sending more volvo to bayswater would that mean that some OC move to malaga

i remmeber before 2016 all the circle route path shift are malaga not Bayswater,

2008-2012 are already at Malaga, hence 2007 being 1778's replacement.

Essentially yes, Baysie will run the Circle plus whatever they do in the way of 950's etc... and Malaga will take up the slack on local running (ie City Mainlines, Citylinks, Feeders etc...)

2707 and 2713 are at Welshpool as they are fitted with the luggage racks for the 380. I didnt see 1462 in your list, has it moved on from Malaga ?

Yes, everyone does forget 1462, which is a shame as it's one of the better B7's.

1777 will be withdrawn from service after today's duties.

2758 and 2759 have arrived at Malaga, however these will get transferred to Bayswater in swap for 2006 and 2007.

Thus far it hasn't been successful in finding it's way to the chopping block - I found it on a 341 late this afternoon. I can't imagine it will be in service on Monday, but one never knows.

B-Set 121 testing on the Joondalup Line today, so (presumably) 120 is in service.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

It appears a huge swag of O405NHs were de-registered in the last week or two so here is an updated list of which ones are no longer registered and officially in retirement from public service.

1140-1154, 1165, 1169-1172, 1302-1314, 1317, 1320-1323, 1328-1331, 1510-1514, 1516, 1519-1525, 1528-1532, 1538-1540, 1700-1714, 1717, 1718, 1726-1742, 1745, 1746, 1772-1776, 1801-1803, 1806-1809, UQB815.

1772-1776 (PATH) were withdrawn this time two years ago when their registrations expired, with 1801-1803 and 1806-1809 (Transdev) withdrawn when their registrations expired in March last year.

At least for the Transdev units, 2647-2659 were at least partially the vehicles that displaced them.

just interesting observation

Ex Fremantle CAT (1178-1180) that previously at Mandurah Depot are coming back to Freo Depot

Saw 1180 doing 501 to Freo at Booragoon bus stn around 2:30 pm

Also, Saw 1178 doing 530 to Cockburn at Yangebup Rd around 4.15pm

Probably, because of today still school holidays. I hope after school holidays these NH not having a limited roster (Only CAT Route) and still running on the normal route because for me it interesting to see the bus from Fremantle that isn't Volvo B7, OC500LE

Also which NH Diesel at are at Fremantle beside 1178-1180

They're not CAT buses anymore, but like any bus at Fremantle, could be used as needed as buses rotate (for want of better terminology) on and off the CAT duties. These NHs, plus 1752/53 (and previous visitors 1196, 1743 and 1744) have been observed out and about on weekends, nightshift and on Circle-Route. Being diesels, there is a bit more flexibility on the shifts they can be allocated to.

As demonstrated today as 1752, 1753 and 1178 are all on rail replacement duties down South
