bus stops route 760 1983

Hi there. I am hoping someone in this discussion forum will be able to assist me with my project. I am trying to find infomation regarding route 760 bus that traveled stirling highway from perth to freo in 1983. In particular I need to find the bus stops that were designated as non-stop bus stops on saturday mornings in february 1983 when traveling from freo to perth. If anyone has a timetable for that period I would love to receive a copy or alternatively just the info re the non-stop bus stops will suffice. any help will be very much appreciated! Cheers

According to the F1 timetable dated May 1983, route 760 services stopped at ALL STATIONS on Saturdays in both directions.

Exactly ^^^^ bumpyrider....the Mar 13 1983 TT states the same thing! The only services I can see running non-stop were the 766s that ran express from Subiaco to Claremont on weekdays!

Thank you so much PoweredByCNG and VL6MT for your posting your replies. I must apologize for not getting back to you sooner - life took me into a different direction for a little while.

The bus stop information I require is for route 760, on the February 19 1983 ex Freo departing approx 11am and bus stops where the bus would have stopped between say Boundary Road and Johnston Street Mosman Park or alternatively the stops the bus would not have stopped at between Boundary and Johnston St.

Are you able to advise if the timetable from March 1983 would have any changes to the stops/non stops please?

Actually VLM6MT I see at the bottom righthand corner of that timetable you so kindly posted, there is a notation referring the reader to the front of the timetable to view the bus stopping locations. Is it possible please for you to post the front page because then I will be able to view the stopping locations? Hopefully someone will be able to verify that the locations listed on this March 1983 timetable are the same as they were on 19 February 1983.

Thank so much 'In Transit' and VL6MT, just what the doctor ordered! Just a small inquiry now - is '...near Stuart Street" (at Mosman Park) would that be the stop that is currently near Salvado Street and Stirling Highway please? Does anyone know the name of the driver that would have been driving the 760 on Saturday February 19 1983, ex Freo to Perth at around 11am departure ex Freo?

Can someone please confirm re the timetable information posted on the forum, if the time detail for Saturdays....eg Fremantle-Leighton-Cottesloe-Claremont-Karrakatta-Subiaco-West Perth-Perth is the actually bus stopping locations? Many thanks....hey I never ever had a bumpyride

It is (was)...though ALL stops were detailed (shown) aside from those that were timed. Is that what you mean Bumpy?

Thanks so much for your prompt reply VL6MT....you are a GEM and very very patient
So that means on the Bus Stopping Places that the 760 would have stopped at all of those locations on the particular Saturday, and the Bus Stops that have an asterix next to them matches up with the expected times the bus would have stopped at the asterixed stops. If you could please confirm my 'grey moment' understanding that would be much appreciated.

Spot on bumpy....nothing grey about that. It definitely would have stopped "in between" at those nominated stops but I'm supposing that for simplicity/clarity and ease of running those same stops were not "timed".
