February sees closures Joondalup line: Perth underground to whitfords
Fremantle line: Perth to Fremantle
Mandurah line: Esplanade to Cockburn Central

Fremantle line closed evening of 27th March to last service 28th
Also a range of evening closures on in March, mostly Cockburn-Mandurah and Bassendean-Midland

Rockingham to Mandurah closed 7pm this Friday to last service 19 April, and all services Sunday 26 and Monday 27 April
From 8pm to end of service on 19th April this will be extended to Cockburn Central

UPDATE:
- Services will be cancelled every evening from the 10 May to the 14 May between Bassendean and Midland Stations.
- Armadale and Thornlie Line services will be disrupted every evening from the 17 May to the 21 May and 24 May to the 28 May.

Rail Replacement 905 will run between Bassendean and Midland, Rail Replacement Route 907 between Armadale and Perth and Rail Replacement 908 between Cannington and Thornlie.

Fremantle Line to be cancelled each evening from 31/5 until 4/6 and the 8/6 until 11/6 between Perth and Fremantle Stations to facilitate works on the line. Rail Replacement Bus 906 will operate.

Transperth - Armadale and Thornlie Lines.

To accommodate construction work on the Victoria Park Stow Road for the new Perth Stadium, the Armadale / Thornlie rail lines will be closed several times over the next 6 months.

The first planned closure is from 19 – 21 February 2016.

Specific times and dates of the closures are available on Transperth’s Planned Works Calendar. Transperth also provides information on its website on how to be prepared for track closures, including signing up for alerts, using the Transperth Journey Planner and alternative bus routes.

Please plan your journey and allow extra time or make alternative arrangements.

Midland Line cancelled from 22/1/2016 right until 24/1/2016
Joondalup Line cancelled nightly from Whitfords to Butler from 31/1/2016 until 4/2/2016

End of February- march 3 Perth station will close from approximately 9pm. Midland,armadale/thornlie lines will closed and Fremantle service leaving from Perth underground

This thread was originally set up given the extensive amount of rail closures that were occurring during the Perth City Link rail component of the project. Now that this has been completed for sometime and the frequency of rail closures has subsided and given postings in this thread have also dropped, it would be appropriate now to consolidate this thread back into the monthly observations thread.

Please also keep in mind that given the easy accessibility to rail closures on the Transperth website, it is probably no longer necessary to report on it on this forum unless the type of planned closure is rather unusual, or is an unplanned closure (emergency rail replacement). Of course as usual with the observations thread, any unusual observations on rail replacement are always interesting to read!
