Scanias are generally good buses, but all depends on how well they have been looked after over the past 30 years.

Hi Smokie,
I also have recently purchased a K92 bus in April with a PMC body. Mechanically it's very good to excellent and I have stripped it out after panel work on the outside
I'm turning it into a bush camper with the kitchen in this week. I decided that I would use second hand bits for the fit out as half the fun is sourcing it.

It was built for the Franklin river project in 84 with a PMC Adelaide body and I believe only 20 of them were built.

I need roof ventilator covers x 2 but may end up with SS mixing bowls instead
It's a great bus and one tough bush truck.
Like you I find it impossible to find much out information but one of the great advantages in having one of these it's truck based and thus truck wreckers have parts for them.
If you have any info I would be glad to share it with you.
