We recently purchased at Leyland Tiger 245 for conversion to motor home. When we check the power steering oil it is black and is always full. The engine oil on the other hand is often low yet there are no leaks. The mechanic who worked on the bus before we bought it, said it may be a seal. Anyone familiar with Tigers who could give us some ideas on how to fix this.
Thanks
Engine oil leaking into power steering.

Can't help with that but we have a 1986 tiger we are about to convert to.

Dont post your number on a open forum as you will now get a lot of bad calls.

Re: Engine oil leaking into power steering.
Is that the round tank on the right hand side you are checking? (Also controls the hydraulic fan) From memory the closest the power steer comes to engine oil is the drive from the motor to the power steer pump
I know a Tiger that gives three different oil level readings within 30 seconds!!
