Indeed Plough you are so right, I have reorganised the mess into a slightly better mess. I have to shift the lounge to the other side so I can drop the rest of the carpet and tension it, my wife is busting my balls to change the colour of the paintwork inside but I dont want to so Ill just put me foot down lol

My most excellent alternator conversion, works like a gem and even tracks straight, motor is AOK for action now

Curtains slowly going in one by one, costs me a bucket of maltesers for the seamstress for each one lol
This area will in time be carpeted and the seat base repadded and covered, dash top will cop a dose of carpet and a thick tinted band across the screens less I can get away with black paint.

Re: My Austin Rebuild
I have installed my benchtop, I have to now cut the hole for the sink before I can think about trimming the length of the top as shes a tad wide, cant see this being a huge problem and could prolly just leave as is once the edging goes on should strenghten it, not like we will be jumping up and down on it, Im running two mixer setups, one is a typical hand pump style, the other is mere connected to outside water source at parks etc via a common hose, just another electrical job I can do away with, simplicity is sometime the best way to go, have to run some small diameter quad across the back edge, due to the windows I cant run a splash back, was going to use a small common fridge, did away with this idea too I picked up an older Chescold 3 way and she will freeze anything real fast or its fine as a fridge for the tinnies, we do alsso have one of the whizz bang eskys that will keep block ice for a week, the wiring for it now is gonna be really easy, just 3 power points, 15 amp inlet, and the outside point and thats it.
As i wish to carry my tinnie everywhere i go as one never knows when one will get the urge for a fish, were making a roof rack out of RHS, full length of roof, I may have outsmarted myself but I figure if I stick a winch post on the front bar and some rollers up top I can merely stand the boat up at the rear of the bus hook up the cable and technically winch it up, anyone think this might be an epic fail?
