Thanks for the great info.

I am not really looking for a way to climb the "career ladder" to higher management jobs. I have always been interested in trains ever since I was very young (good old Thomas

). I would like jobs like those so I can be riding around trains and not seen as a weirdo.

They just closed applications for casual customer service officers last week.
I'd suggest creating a profile on their expressions of interest page; Even though they don't really recruit people from that it shows you're keen. Its also handy because you can have new jobs emailed to you.
Sir Pompously wrote:You would more than likely have to wait for it to appear on the same careers website which lists coal trains and managers you speak of. Most companies will only accept applications when a position is available through the careers site, as these days most of the interviews and lead up 'exams' are performed by a contracted company with a few management types from the company hiring. Create a profile online, and hopefully that will allow you to get alerts when jobs become available.
I did create an account and also get alerts on new jobs, I am also watching the Translink's jobs website too.

Do you know the names of these recruitment agencies? As there are quiet a lot of recruitment agencies.
