Electric train transfer movement to Dry Creek

Postby Glen » Mon Oct 23, 2017 8:11 am

Hello

I'm curious about the regular transfer movement of the electric set to Dry Creek.

Can anyone please advise:

Does it occur every weekday or only as required?

What time does it leave Adelaide?

What time does it returns from Dry Creek?

Does it also run on weekends, if so at what times?

Thanks for your help.

The working occurs every weekday. It leaves Adelaide about 0900 after the morning peak. It leaves Dry Creek about 1405 arriving in Adelaide about 1420. The DEMU then forms the 1509 Belair. Currently the transfer working has to use Platform 5 and the DEMU propels the EMU into the siding behind the new RAH. I am not aware of any regular weekend workings probably because there are limited empty stock workings.
