Hi all,

Just a few questions regrading ex Adelaide Metro Buses,

1. Where are ex Adelaide Metro Buses stored when they are retired and not in depots?
2. How would someone be able to own a ex Adelaide Metro bus?
3. Would it be possible that anyone knows of some retired buses I could see? (Prefer having a look inside them as well)

If anyone is able to answer these few questions it would be much appreciated

Thanks,

You may find this previous thread useful for some of your questions (having never purchased a bus I cannot help you directly):

2. I can answer.

Usually the Government or Operator will put them up for tender, there are several sites worth checking out such as Gray's Online or Evans & Clarke. Sometimes it may pay to even contact the individual operator or DPTI to find out.

I only say this because when EDSA/DECS retired their fleet of Hino school buses (and some of their Toyota mini buses) over 25 Years old, a vast majority ended up for tender/auction on E&C or GO.
