Good riddance. They are terrible buses. They sway enough to make you sea sick.

I can recall LCB doing rail subs on the Seaford, Tonsley, Belair and Gawler lines as well as the Glenelg tram line.

jibb wrote:These are Midis, not full size rigids or artics-they are finished. Considering that Gawler rail sub buses would carry a lot of passengers-Midis would be useless for that service. There will be plenty of buses available if and when rail sub buses are required for the Gawler line-ie MAN SL202 Diesels.
It is possible that the midis would be used on regular work; thus freeing full size buses for use on Rail.

Given that the work on the Gawler Line is only for electrification and not track work, most of the closures should only be required at nights and on weekends. Once the track work was done on the Seaford Line, the services went almost back to normal. Therefore, not many would be required... if any extra at all.

I have have moved to Greenwith for 3 months and now get a 591A to get to work. Last few weeks they have been Midis (115/117). Today the morning circuits were being done by 1808.

It means nothing I know, as both could be being serviced or off doing other routes.

I do take a few 591s lately (too lazy to walk up and down the steep hill!!)

My 591s recently have all been 117. No sign of 115 either on that route or out and about.

Am I just blind?

I can definitely confirm this as I saw 123 running the Port Pirie bus service yesterday.
