See here, posted last week in the 'Ex Darwin buses in Adelaide' thread in this section of the forum about #1358:

Yesterday morning there were major delays for Light City Buses leaving St Agnes Depot according to today's Adelaide Now. One driver on social media(doesn't say which one?)stated that many buses including his left up to 25 minutes late. This apparently is not a new occurrence.

Are they short of buses or drivers?

Sorry-I didn't complete the post-the buses involved had flat batteries (in the lower yard),which also blocked many buses from being unable to exit the yard/depot.

The article said one had to be jump started causing the delay for it and others that were trapped behind it.

This idea is quite fascinating, I might try doing it myself with the buses I see down south :)

Surely we're not compiling lists of advertising? Generally most people are only interested in buses with AOA (all over advertising) as these are not common across the fleet. The vast majority of buses have ads on the rear and sides - do these really warrant posting in this thread? Perhaps a different topic may be required?

I did consider making another topic, however I reasoned that wherever I put it I would have done the wrong thing. Not doubt, if I had put it in it's own thread people would be saying "surely this doesn't warrant it's own thread - this is why we have an observations thread". If admin believes that creating a new thread is needed, I will have no complaints, but out of the two options one must be right. It's just working out which that is the issue here.

I only posted it as from what I've seen there aren't too many AOA buses in Adelaide, and that back ads seem to be more common. I am not for one second saying fleetlists should record back ads, just thought it might be an interesting discussion on the Australian Transport [Discussion Board. Recording normal "side" adverts (that take up a small amount of the side of the bus, not full side ads) would be ridiculous. And for the record, 3401 isn't in AOA for Auchendarcroch House (Mt Barker), rather a full side ad.

Observed an influx of SouthLink's L94UA's this arvo around the Reynella area. Saw a record number of 7 L94UA's in just under 10min! Usually at this time I'm lucky if I see 1-2, has something happened that I'm unaware of? :)

Speaking of L94UAs, is 2801 is governed to 85kph just like the other DTEI owned ones?

How long have the Seaford rail subs been going on for? I've gone past the same spot, the same time each week for months now and never seen so many L94UA's before lol...

Ahh yeah, that is probably the likely cause of the influx of the artics down around south then. Thanks for the info :)

Rail subs don't go anywhere near Reynella so it was probably coincidence.

Nah, they were all just running normal services and a few school runs. Also noted a few not in service, presumably heading into the city for afternoon runs.

Light-City Buses O-Bahn Scania 1404 (involved in a smash with 1468 at Paradise Interchange in late Janaury ) returned to service this afternoon.

Must have been some smash if it's taken over four months for it to be fixed

IIRC 1462 took about six months to re-enter service after an almost identical crash 3-4 years ago.

Southlink L94UB 2558 was off the road for at least 6 to 9 months, after developing major mechanical issues. It had loose engine mounts, and didn't sound that healthy around Jan 14.
