Not sure if it has been in a accident or not.

It t-boned a car last July on Morphett Rd - the elderly woman driver of the car died days later; the bus driver suffered minor injuries. 787 was off traffic for a month and received a new head panel, but as has been the case over the last few years with MAN buses, there's absolutely no urgency to paint the black smiles back on unlike the Scanias. 1515 was kicking around with a blank smile last I checked too, as well as another NL232 which escapes me at the moment.

790 has a yellow smile, as does at least one SouthLink 18.280 (2744 I think), about two L94UAs from SouthLink, and at least one L94UB also from SouthLink...

And a bus that has a bright red smile is Scania K230 #1462 which re-entered service today (this time with new operator Light-City Buses) after being involved in an horrific accident at Klemzig Station just over 7 months ago (April 4th). It's smile is bright red and interrupted as the Scania logo now sits above the smile. Apart from some new panels, and a new steering wheel, there isn't much of a noticeable difference to this bus compared to others in the same series. It can be easily spotted from up a road as its front clearance lights are full brightness; normally they are dimmed to around half-brightness.
Time to get bus priority and tram priority through the city and suburbs.
Time to police bus lanes which are used by arrogant car drivers.
Time to work for better timetables and better connections.

Would reckon that LCB would be very happy to have it back in serviceconsidering they don't have too many spare buses in peak hours.
Are we to assume it will be based at St.Agnes?

All O-Bahn buses now seem to be based at St Agnes. Morphettville started out with 441, 443 and 1270-1279. At the start of the school term 1160-1162 and 1164 were swapped to Morphettville in exchange for some of the 1270s. Since then, so many changeovers between depots have meant that Morphettville doesn't have any 'fixed' O-Bahn buses. Of those mentioned above, I think 1162 is the only one that Morphettville have managed to hold onto since then.

Almost all (if not all) of the Morphettville O-Bahn buses listed in fleet lists are at St Agnes, with various others ending up there temporarily on a random basis (much like the Pooraka/Elizabeth and Seaford/Lonsdale arrangement, but all done randomly!). In fact any diesel buses can be based at any depot at any time, the only buses that are returned to their 'home' depot are gas buses which are sent from St Agnes to Morphettville at the next available opportunity! Silver diesel buses are quickly losing any resemblance to a 'home' depot, as they seem to swap between depots quite regularly!

Makes keeping the fleet list page accurate an impossibility!

I guess the overall numbers at each depot as listed on Fleet Lists is still the same despite all these movements.

The O-Bahn track frpm TTP to Paradise has been closed from 8:00pm till 6:00am. All service to the city from TTP to City need to go via the road.
This is due to a small section of track that has broken away.
2 Supervisors were on site informing the intending passengers and closing the track off.
It was good to see the track blocked off with safety cones and fencing.
The other contractor use to just place buses in the entrances to close the track off.

With the new CB80 artic at Southlink Elizabeth, I reckon that one will be numbered 2840, then upwards thereafter. Just a guess.
Southlink's two competitors are: 'Scania-City Buses' and 'MAN Transit'. :(

Perhaps to fix some TSR's that are slowing the mawson services? Theres a slow point by Dudley Park station and it seems that the down service trains are dawdling along the "up" track they have crossed onto to come into Mawson Interchange.??

There are two TSR's on that line, one 80km/h at the standard gauge cross over just before Kilburn down, and 70km/h just after Dry Creek station up to the otherside of Cormack Rd. The reason you are speaking of is the rules in place, Caution signals need to be driven at 40km/h, last signal to get into Mawson Lakes is always at caution, so its 40km/h to the 25km/h TSR at the platform.

Hmm, surprising. Thought they would start from 2840 or 2850. Oh well, thus presuming there are 23 on order for Southlink Elizabeth, they will be numbered from 2837-2859.
