Would anyone happen to know both the overall length and the wheelbase length of the bus types used by Torrens Transit.

How come there is no PDF version of the G1/H1 timetables on the AdMet website? Was it too much of a PITA to create for a 3 week long closure? The only way I can find the schedule for this extremely loose timetable is via Transit Times.

The Volvo B8RLE is now registered SB16MH, suggesting it might be delivered to an operator soon.

Is normal procedure to receive fleet numbers before or after delivery to a contractor?
First person on 822, 865 (2016 re-route).
Last person on 867, 868.

The post was meant to go in the obs thread, but anyway... Buses usually get their fleet numbers after delivery.

A question about Volvo artics 1351, 1352, 1353, 1365 & 1366. I know that 1352 eventually went to SouthLink as 2321 & then to Serco & the rest of them ended up at TransitPlus but I was wondering when the network was first privatised in April 2000 did they first go to Torrens Transit for a brief period & if so how long for

Can somebody explain exactly which route the T721X traverses? Is it exactly the same as the T721, or does it go a different way?

I've heard there's an 80 zone on it in addition to the 100 zone, but could this just be the short portion out of Old Reynella Interchange?

More or less a T721 that is express from Grote Street to stop 48 Main South Road, Reynella, then all the T stops from there (52, 55, 59, Colonades, NCI).
Consequently off the freeway it traverses Main South Road to stop 48 (which has an 80 zone) and bypasses Old Reynella interchange.

AdMet route map http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/content/download/595/5213/file/721-T721-N721_routemap_26-01-16.pdf shows T721X taking Main South Road at Reynella whereas T721 goes via Old South Road.

Thanks for the replies. I just couldn't make sense of it for some reason in the small map within the PDF file.

I still recall catching 2547 on this run in 2011 with 2 other passengers aboard almost like it was yesterday.

2547 sounds like a northern bus. Very unlikely for it to doe a T721X these days.

After leaving the Southern Expressway, the T721X immediately turns right onto Reynella Bypass Road. That leads to Main South Road shortly before Stop 48.
Please leave via centre door.

I did 2537 show up on TT in the days when it was actually working properly (last year some time), so it must have been due to a bus swap or something. Anyhow, this was on 24/12/11 within the period when I was mainly catching Scanias instead of making use of the SL202's remaining time on the O'bahn before they got transferred to Port.

By that date, most of the SL202s were at Port anyway...

I meant from September to December 2011. Although I'm not exactly sure when 421 - 440 lost their guide wheels.

421-439 had their guidewheels removed in early October 2011, shortly after being removed from St Agnes Depot. In fact I think it was within a day or two, but they kept their arms and dome lights a bit longer. 440 hasn't had guidewheels for most of its life.

Has there been any new arrivals at Port recently?

Haven't seen 1954 yet. I assume it hasn't been built yet?

There last new arrival was 1951,although there has been reported last week that there was another new Scania at Wingfield.

The detail on that map is a bit out of date (though correct for the 288 that was asked for).
J2, 162 no longer exist, J3, 163 don't get a mention. There may be others.

Route 868 is still there, and I think there may be a few prefix/suffix letters missing or incorrect. But it gives you the general idea
