I was able to get them without any problems. Is it perhaps an issue with certain browsers?

I have had problems with pdf documents on the AdMet website, mainly on the mobile, they do recommend that you use the Adobe Acrobat reader. If you are using another pdf program then consider using the Adobe program. After downloading the Adobe program, I had no more problems on the mobile.

I’m going to be riding a 682 later on this afternoon and I just wanted to know the likelihood of the bus being a Rosa cause I know they’re pretty much unique to this route (maybe a couple others)

Does anyone know what the last CB80 rigid was built in Adelaide was?

I'm starting to wonder if the more recent 'improvements' in the last 3 years are due to them being built in Sydney?

The Sydney built ones have all 3 sets of tail lights on each side alight whereas the Adelaide built ones only have one tail light on each side alight (still 3 rings but only one lights up). So you'll need to do some night spotting. With Torrens it's somewhere in the early 1930s that the change occurred, maybe 1934 the first Sydney one.

Any idea how I would be able to find out what time 3401 is doing routes today?

I know 3401 usually does the 10:15 T840 outbound and it would do a fair few T843's but not sure of any others.

Thank you, there is also a few other buses that I'm searching for. Would there be any way of me trying to find them?

Is there any reason the DPTI has no printed or online timetables available for the Outer Harbour rail subs? Surely it doesn't cost millions of dollars to print a few of them. How on earth does one know when the service runs?

Without knowing which buses they are, it's hard to provide any assistance in regards to this.

Do you have any fleet numbers you could mention to make this question easier to answer?

Outer Harbor and Grange timetables ARE available on the Adelaide Metro website. Not the easiest to find; they're hidden (as usual) in the page containing the closure notice - http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/Announc ... ember-2017.

Direct links:

The InfoCentre staff will print it off on request.

542 is most likely to be found on weekday broken shifts, or occasionally straights. You're probably more like to find 443 out on a straight than the other.

443 is a standard SL202 in good mechanical condition, with a Voith 3 speed transmission that limits it to just over 90kph (91kph on the flats). It is nothing interesting, excluding the fact that it operates on the O'bahn on the occasion that it's available to a driver that wants to take it on the track. It was out on weekends at least twice in 2016.

Yes. If it's any help, I rode 1360 on a H1 towards Outer Harbor at about 11am on Thursday last week.

An easy way to get 542 is usually on a weekday morning at about 8:30 on a 645 becoming an M44 at Marion.

Earlier on this week I rode my first LCB SL202 (after 10 years of taking notice of what bus I was on!) and noticed it had a really jumpy transmission.

Every time the voith transmission changed up every person on the bus seemed to jolt forwards in their seats. This bus was 888

That sounds like 432, which has a Voith transmission and jolts into the third gear. 888 has a ZF transmission. It certainly didn't have that issue earlier this year, but if you report it to Morphettville Depot, they'll take a look at it and fix it.

Just had another look and the bus was actually 884. Does that also have a ZF?

1624 is much, much worse than any LCB bus I've been on. It was literally like a two wheeled bus, as the suspension reminded me of the jelly suspension rogue powerup in Carmageddon 2. It had vibrations coming from the gearbox as well.

All SL202 CNGs have a ZF transmission, as do all other MAN buses currently in service in Adelaide, excluding the diesel-fueled SL202s.
