Hi there Guys, Here are a few photos of my Dad's run bus. Which he uses just about every day. Go West Scania #2131

Its a Scania K270UB6x2LB with 13.5mtr Designline body.

He's not complaining though... He's been driving buses for 49 years now. So this is a breeze for him.

In his career, he has driven for the following companies: Egmont tourist Motors, NZR Road Services, New Plymouth City Council, ARA The Yellow Bus Company, Stagecoach Auckland & Go West.

12.5M. So far the only 13.5m Designline bodied Scania is Go Bus 80.

Similar to urban buses in Chicago, built by designline... Pity i didn't get pics before coming home.

I quite like this design. Its a shame the glass has become to expensive for NZ Bus.

Anyways the bubble is way better than some of the stuff Designline are churning out at the moment!!!

The ones in US don't have bonded windows wither... How have you been?

Especially the windscreen. Imagine going into Smith & Smith to ask for a replacement.... They'd laugh at you.

Heres a couple he may have had a go at then... the CBL25 used to be Egmonts

Yup, but only one and not close up...... was long gone from NZ by then and only on a quick visit

Hell, the corner of Custom St East and Anzac Ave looks quite vastly different now. You wouldn't be able to take a photo of that angle now...
