Mercedes Benz O305 ex m/o 3026
Hi everyone,
I purchased this vehicle at the December Manheim Auction - it is thoroughly original on the inside, just with later stickers stuck over some original signage. Originally I went to the auction with a view of getting one to pull apart for my other mk4 former m/o 3069, after considering my situation and not wanting to have two mk4's I thought it would be best to on sell to a fellow enthusiast, commenced negotiations with someone , but the deal did not proceed. So I am listing it here with the hope that someone here toying with the idea of preserving and restoring one of these vehicles and feels they "missed the boat" can take advantage of this vehicle.
The vehicle as it sits has a reconditioned engine and the gearbox is smooth, the body is straight but the paint is flat, this vehicle spent it's life at North Sydney/Willoughby and Ryde, so it was away from salt air, a few bits and pieces are missing (one upper bar down the back and the front door air release) - however I am happy to supply replacements to the buyer
I'm looking to only get back what I paid for it ( hammer price plus auction fees, I have the auction documentation) and the vehicle resides at Oakville presently
feel free to send me a PM
