Re: Transit Australia Group
With the Queensland branch of the Calabro family putting the bus operations of Transit Australia Group up for sale and the likeness that the NSW branch of the family might not win a contract in the next two rounds of Transport For NSW metropolitan bus contract tendering the Calabro family as a whole might want to cut back on their participation in the transport industry after 67 years

Re: Transit Australia Group
Well the industry is changing, the new Translink bus contracts are rumored to only offer a fairly small profit margin providing the companies can meet all the KPIs. So I guess some operators will now want out and have a contract sell, Translink operators since 2011 have been running on emergency contracts. TAG won't have much trouble selling there operations, though some of the smaller Translink Operators may have more difficulty selling with the small profit margins these contracts offer.
