Nice pics Lemon. Especially like the 1st pic of the 14.5, as you can see the true extent of the "steerable" tag axle. Likewise, I like the pic of #302, as the destination is EASY to read, unlike ALL the others. Pity Metro in Tasmania do not adopt this as standard. Certainly clearer and easier to read.

whats the capacity like in that 14.5m long scania? I know that the 14.7m MAN counterparts(MAN Lions City L) can hold up to 120 people.

They say 101 (I think) but I reckon they would be lucky to get more than 85 on.

High Capacity Buses and Much More!

Great shot of the steerable tag, I didn't realise how much they actually turned, I though it was a small amount. Excuse the dumb question but what does one benefit from a steerable tag? How does it help when there is an axle in between that doesn't steer.
Explain your reasoning for putting the slowest, worst bus on the longest route. Surely it'd be more efficient to have a newer one. Where's my 8 speed M.A.N?

490 is on loan from Scania and is trialling a new gas injection system, it is due to depart ACTION for another operator next month so look out cities with CNG (Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth)
