Re: Is this old coach Redline
Hi Bedford-29,
Not ex-Redline, rather I'd say a vastly re-modeled Ansair Flxible Clipper.
The windows really tell the story for me, being the typical Clipper alloy framed units, and in the 3 1/2 pattern each side.
She also still retains a typical Flxible rear roof-mounted saloon air flow register, at least one of which is still visible in the off side rear photo.
The 10 stud wheels are also an indicator.
Someone's gone to a lot of trouble to extract the maximum amount of interior space out of one of these vehicles, while resisting the urge to raise the roof line....

This vehicle must have been extended at the rear to give it extra room and to get rif of the curved rear. The front has been altered too.
The front door looks like any bus sedan door. Makes you wonder why anyone would go to a lot of trouble to alter one this far.

That look like a Stewart & Sons re-body to me. They did rebody a Clipper. I will have to find a photo of it to match.
