I read your post to Dad last night. He is in hospital recovering from heart surgery.
He asked if you knew any of the names of Paddys Wife and friends.
Even though he celebrated his 90th birthday on the23rd of September he can remember the name of everyone he has had as a passenger.

Hi Robert,
Please pass on my very best wishes to Ray for a quick and full recovery.
He's one of the genuine characters from the early days, and I have many vivid memories of him in action with Redline, not to mention steering proceedings at my wedding in Melbourne in 1966.....

Paddy (Irish obviously) tells me his wife was Janet (British) and a couple they met on the trip and still friendly with were Pedro (Spanish) and his wife Maria (Italian). Also mentions old Harry and his wife....old Harry would drink a bottle of Bundy rum every couple of days. Paddy's still searching for his photos from the trip and will send any vehicle shots, if found.
