Tamar Valley Coaches Hino BG300

Postby LocoLes » Sun Jan 22, 2017 8:50 pm

This PMCSA Hino is a much travelled coach. First photo is at Glenelg, SA then in 2006 at Kings Meadows, Launceston with the current owner, Tamar valley Coaches, Legana. The bus was owned by Coomealla Bus Lines of Dareton NSW in the first photo.

Just wondering if I'm looking at the same green in different light conditions, or two different shades of green applied to the coach over time ?

I would say same green but in different lighting conditions. Assuming the top on is on a digital camera using auto settings, the bottom one may have been slightly over-exposed on a manual film camera.
First person on 822, 865 (2016 re-route).
Last person on 867, 868.

OR after twenty so years, the paint has faded somewhat  Tassie operators are not renowned for repainting vehicles out of mainland colours, unless required. Good catch LocoLes. Never thought much about the history of this particular Tamar Valley unit. Cheers

Nice photos LocoLes. We dont see many photos of PMC Adelaide (and PMC Sydney) coaches of this era.

Here's the link to one of my posts on PMC:
