Another selection of vehicles from the Bruce Tilley Collection.
B.U.T. Trolleybuses #301 > #330 (Launceston) Initially numbered #1 > #30
Here we go, for those waiting for the Launceston Heathorns / Lawton SA bodied version of B.U.T. trolleybuses.

#304 (in original LMT livery, which it retained for 14yrs of it's life (source: Ian Cooper's Trolley Buses of Tasmania)

#301 class leader (#1) delivered new in Apr 1950.

#237 @ Housing Department development in Hobart.(possibly Mornington)
5 x L'ton B.U.Ts (#326 > #330) were transferred to Hobart in '63/'64 and were renumbered #237 > #241

I read that some of the ex Launceston trolleybuses like 301 ended there days as shacks on King island.

Thought 1 or 2 ended up at the lakes as shacks as well.Remember seeing the odd one out at Bridgewater while the housing estate was being built by the then Housing Commision

Hello Bruce. I have a photo of trolley bus 304 loaded on my fathers boat called the "Phoenix" on its last trip to Preservation Island to be used as a Shack. It is the craziest load you have ever seen.

I think you will find some of BUTs ended up going to King island to be used as shacks too.
