Changing things up...

Post by Merc1107 »

Undoubtedly, some members may have been privy to the selection I am about to post. For those who have not seen the latest developments (pun intended), here's a small selection from the two rolls of Fujicolor Industrial 400 that I recently had developed.

One thing is certain, it seems a bright day in late-spring here in Perth requires reducing exposure by about 1 stop on top of your "Sunny 16" rule. Once I have exhausted the present supply of 400-speed film, I'll graduate to something a touch less sensitive.

Renaults were once again a "continuing theme" on these two rolls, with sWAn's 707, 718 & 730, in addition to Transdev's 735 and PATH's 711 & 727 committed.
Welshpool's "Convenience Bus," 711, seen arriving on a 294. It later departed on a 36 to the city.

Look what followed me to Bull Creek... Again! One of a small handful of Renaults that solider(?) on at Palmyra ("Fremantle") depot by Transdev

sWAn's O405NH '1303' also found her way onto my exposures!
Recently returned to service, sWAn's 1303 seen along Discovery Way (Murdoch) on the way to Maddington

A couple other "odds and ends" were also photographed, as seen below.
A common sight along Discovery Way (Murdoch) is Volvo B7 "Optimus" 2497, operated by sWAn transit

sWAn's 1645 pictured along Discovery Way, all zeroes after running a "20x" service. Usually one of the "trifecta" of services to the University are operated by the OC-gassie.

All images pictured were taken according to the "Sunny 16" rule. Some are still a tad over-done, despite the camera's light meter suggesting underexposure by around 2 stops. With our particularly sunny weather, I think I'll need to tweak my exposures by around a half to a full stop.

Of course, the film I'm using takes 36 exposures, but not all of them were "post worthy" here on the ATDB, nor relevant to buses, even!
