As I walked along Salvado Rd past where Swan buses used to layover at the footie, I read the sign on the stop which advised punters that the buses now layed over on Roberts Rd adjacent to Patterson Stadium. My immediate thought was, where's that? Who the feck do these sponsors think they are that they have a right to rename Perth landmarks? It's been Subi Oval since 1908!
Similarly it's been Perth Oval since 1904 (previously known as Loton's Paddock after its original owner). What's this nib stadium bullsh!t?
