I don't know why but a lot of the photos in Herbert's Perth bus info site have changed or are not there anymore, which would explain why these photo links are not showing?
Hopefully Herbert could shed some light on us lost souls. :)

Rome wasn't built in a day; likewise, perthbus won't be rebuilt in a day. I'm currently working through my own photos & re-uploading them, as time permits.

Any updates on 3381 ? :D
Also location on Google Maps so those in NSW can try to find it, as street view shows McDonalds. :D

Status unknown, sorry Mr AEC. They have recently acquired two Renaults ex-Adams also, so it's hard to imagine there's much room left to stow all their buses. On Google maps the light blue/white/yellow bus is ex-Transperth O305 328. Nearmap gives a bit more info: 3381 is there on 23.01.2012 but not on the latest photo (6.4.12):

it's interesting to note that while some of the satellite maps are fairly recent, the street level person's-eye-view shots (In my case anyway) are old. Mine has cars parked out the front that I sold back in 2010 ;) I suppose it is a bigger logistical nightmare to physically send the camera car around the urban landscape than a satellite that has to orbit the earth whether it likes it or not anyway. oh yea, and what i really wanted to say was : as inspired by the hino in this thread , are there any plans to secure any of the ex Transperth / MTT Hino Rainbows for preservation? I know they may have been a obscure bus as they saw limited revenue service and not to everyone's taste. But I think this makes them all the more candidates for preservation! I have seen one running around Perth with a (didn't get the name) certain small tour company.
As for me, give me liberty, or give me death!

When I opened nearmaps to search for Whim Creek, pursuant to Mr OC Benz's post of the ex-Sydney decker, nearmaps presented a more recent photo of Clydes back yard. Note the position of the air con on the yellow bus...

Ex-Sydney 3381 passed me twice on Tuesday, but I only managed this poor out-the-cab-window shot of it on the first occasion:

It is now registered TC6964.
