Well done on taking the happy snaps on these buses 'High Floor Bus' You must've had prefect timing finding these buses on the same day.
If your lucky streak continues, can you tell me this Saturday's Lotto numbers please? (lol...or am I?)

The Rear on 3002 is actually the standard Citelis Rear. Because it has a Transverse mounted engine, it was easier to use that rather than have Custom Coaches try and remodel the back (at cost).

ADX666 i have seen both the Bank West & Perth Zoo AOA buses leave the busport a minute or to apart heading for WSBS around 15.09 today and it fits in around the time in my break yesterday whein i graphed both buses a WSBS.

Not only transverse (i.e. east-west) engine direction, but vertical engine cylinders (as opposed to horizontal 'boxer-style') as well, hence the rear 'port hole' instead of your usual full-sized window.

at least the upright configuration will prevent oil from pooling in the casting depressions as was such that led to the fires on the gas buses
