Now this is only a guess from what you've shown in the pictures (Location of photos?, or prefer not to say?) but possibly either Bedford or Leyland school bus ex SA. I'm also interested in what the bus is behind it as well.

Hi, My guess is that is a Freighter-Lawton [SA] bodied Bedford SB around 1960-61 build. That particular bus had similar passenger windows to the one in your photo. :mrgreen:

I think its one like these Bedford-Freighter Lawton buses.The Education department in SA had bought a lot of them at the time,they might have been all Bedfords. I added photos.I dont know why there were buses with single headlights each side and double headlight.

As for the bus in the background of your photos,is it a custom coach or Ansair bus of the 70s or 80s? The windows look like ansair.They are square windows with sliding windows at the top.

It will be the second and third picture of the latest pictures as the first picture is for route service
