I thought I'd share my better local shots from January that didn't make the "Best Of", just to keep something happening in the photo section. There is also one from this week. As usual, larger versions are available on my Flickr page (see signature). Keep a look out for the next "Best Of", which will probably be after or at the end of the next school holidays.

- Scania K280/CR228L #3230 on ex-route 868, waiting to turn right into Longwood Rd, Heathfield.
- Scania L94/CR224L #3219 on route 894, heading through Stirling on the 27th of Jan this year.
- Scania K280/CB80 #3228 on ex-route 868, heading up the Hill past stop 38A Longwood Rd, Heathfield.

- Scania L94/CR224L #3200 on ex-route 865 to Aldgate. This was the old Saturday PM peak service from the City, which was removed as soon as the 865 was changed to go via Heathfield. It has been replaced with an 866R. No routes officially use this stretch of Pomona Rd in this direction anymore, but some 822s unofficially use it so they can go direct to Aldgate depot instead of doing a u-turn at the roundabout. It doesn't really make a difference, the only thing that changes is the side of Mt Barker Rd you are dropped off on.
- Scania L94/CR224L #3213 on route 863 to the City. Taken one sunny(ish) Saturday afternoon.
- Scania L94/CR224L #3206 on ex-route 868 to Aldgate, turning left into Cricklewood Rd, Heathfield.
- Scania L94/CR224L #3218 on ex-route 868 heading past stop 39B Cricklewood Rd, Heathfield.
- Scania L94/CR224L #3359 and #3212 outside Aldgate depot. #3359 on route 864F to City, #3212 running Not In Service to Stirling before it starts an 866.
- Scania L94/CR224L #3220 on route 866 to Stirling. At the time this was taken, it was unusual to see a bus at stop 36A, but since the changes it has become more regular. #3220 was there due to the TDU road closures.
- The one and only Scania L94/CR224L #3270 on route 865 to Aldgate. Taken on Monday. Note the lack of "SouthLink" branding on the front.
