H22L. What sort of route number is that? Don't make it difficult or anything!

An H22 (Henley Beach Rd service) that doesn't go all the way but is a short run that terminates at Lockleys (as in L for Lockleys).

Nice photos venturatiger - do you have any shots of these vehicles in service for MBL that could make a good comparison shot?

Least it wasn't a H31L. That'd be a problem from a distance!

That's the new route number for "please signal driver".

Seriously though. H22L. Somebody needs to think about new users. That's just appalling.

Why don't they just display the destination of it as a short working and be done with it like every other city I've been to around the world.

Agree with Mr O it does look complicated and I'm sure even enthusiast visitors from other states would get stumped initially...

The only letters that should ever be used if for whatever reason you have Alpha-Numeric route numbers, are L, X, E and letters that designate a service via a Transitway etc... (eg: T80)

Mr. OCB, there has been worse... T219U, T721X, both that couldn't be displayed properly on an SL200 or Brown Bomber

The Volvos look very smart in that livery. I've been to Adelaide twice and it seems that the use of letters has become more complicated than ever. There really should be no need for it at all....ESP routes with a letter, number then another letter. Only my thoughts tho.
Great photos anyway. Would anyone have dash shots of these Volvo B10's'? They must go like rockets 8)
