Re: Harris Coaches Gawler
Thanks for the pics (especialy the Swift as have been after this for ages), Harris Coaches was a very well presented fleet and retianed the livery up until a few yrs ago when it all went white.
I remember going on a few local pub christmas parties to the Barossa and riding their coaches.
I also ran a local bus tour (my 2nd) for the local enthusiast group and Harris Coaches was our transport provider using one of the dodges.

Is that Hino a former STA Roadliner - the orange on the roofline might suggest so.
Re: Harris Coaches Gawler
I think the Hino may be former South Western / VIP, Sydney m/o 922. This was an operation owned by Max Holman (VIP Express) that operated local bus runs in Sydney's southern suburbs as well as a charter coach fleet including 3 Hino / Custom Coach vehicles - mo'c 912, 922 and 932.

Re: Harris Coaches Gawler
The Swift would be a 760 model rather than a 691, unless its #584, which I'm sure ended up in Qld.
Great pics though.
Do they still have the Swift?

When did the Hino leave South Western? Don't recall ever seeing it. All I remember from South Western in their final days was a whole bunch of sh*t heap Bedfords and Leylands, with 2 almost newish Hino Custom Coaches.

I have attached a photo of a Super White that was ex TAA,in Perth,WA.It became "Sellick's Coaches" around 1966.This vehicle was then sold to Harris Coaches where it retained the pink, silver and white livery as per the Late Jack.G.Sellick.
This photo was taken on Bower Road,Semaphore South at the time it was owned by my parents.
