In around 2012, these were repowered with Cummins engines, as low emission engines were required to extend the contract.
These buses were listed for sale, but have been seen floating about on rail replacement.

They’re currently still listed for sale on Bus Sales Online and along with rail replacement on both the Pakenham/Cranbourne & Hurstbridge lines over the last month or so, they’ve been used for cleaning up Transdev’s messscott wrote: These buses were listed for sale, but have been seen floating about on rail replacement.

Why was this shuttle service ended? Because of the introduction of the free tram zone?

No it covered a totally different area and operated well after the free tram zone started.

Was A City Council run service, which with the free zone , City Circle Trams & the Double Deckers,& Charging fares patronage had dropped & the council didn't want to run the service anymore
